WE do and I hate it. I need total darkness and silence to fall asleep and DH likes to put the timer on and fall asleep with it on in the background.  It's a tiny one though, and its in our armoire.

Ditto this. We usually set the sleep timer. We also use it for light sometimes if one of us gets home late and don't want to switch on the light to wake the other person up.

We have one in there, but, usually it's me that's watching.
DH watches his shows downstairs in the den, I go into the bedroom and watch.
We usually watch the News a bit and then agree to turn it off.
I need darkness and silence to fall asleep.

Having a TV in your bedroom is poor sleep hygiene. (I'm a sleep disorders tech). Our patients always have to turn of the TV, when we start their Studies at night. With that said, of course I have a TV in my room. We do turn it off when we go to sleep though.

I have not had a t.v. in my bedroom since I was about 17 years old but we got once a few weeks ago. We consolidated all of our furniture and ended up with an extra t.v. DH sold almost everything else except weights and other electronics.
We have only used it once so far to watch a DVD.

We do.
DH is the king of channel flipping, and I usually like to watch an entire show, not just 30 seconds of one.
Also, if he's studying in the computer room, I'll go upstairs so as not to disturb him.
We also have different tastes in shows. He would not sit thru half the stuff I watch.

We do, but its only used when I want to watch something that DH doesn't, and don't want to watch in the den (it's a mess right now).
Or if Dh is away, I like to fall asleep with it on.

We have one, but we pretty much never use it. We maybe use it when we're cleaning up or feel like snuggling in bed to watch a show or something... but if we use it 10 times a year, that would be a lot...

We do. We generally watch the same shows - we just like to have it so we can get ready for bed and finish watching a program in bed. That way we are already there as soon as the program is over.
I don't generally like to fall asleep with the TV on though- I need complete darness and quiet unless I am especially exhausted.

We don't. I feel like the bedroom is my quiet sanctuary and a TV does not give me that type of environment. We go into the LR or guest room if we want to watch TV.
We both like to read before going to sleep anyway, and the TV would disrupt that.
The only time I wish we had one in there is when I am home sick.
