Re: March Mommies to be

Hi everyone! I am due on March 28th. I am finally feeling comfortable and less anxious about this whole process. We have been through a lot and finally got pregnant this summer via IVF. I'm feeling pretty good lately. I am a teacher, so going back to school was a shock to my system after a relaxing summer. I was exhausted beyond the point I ever though possible! That is getting better. I was a little nauseas when I went back to work and had to get up with the alarm clock, but that seems to be getting better, too. I am just patiently waiting to find out if we are having a girl or a boy!

Congrats to everyone!

Re: March Mommies to be

I'm 16 weeks 3 days...due on March 14th. I am definitely showing, although it a little less round and a little more lumpy than I would prefer at this point Chat Icon I am wearing a mix of maternity and the tummy sleeve although a lot of my pants are starting to be too small even wtih the tummy sleeve. I think I will find out on Wed that I gained a bunch (so far only 4 lbs). We will be finding out what we are having. At our ultrascreen, the tech told us she thinks it is a girl but it is too soon for us to be shopping...so we will wait for the Level II on oct 24.

I'm so excited about this thread!

Does everyone have a high risk appointment? Or is that for only certain people?

Only people who are High Risk will see a seperate HR specialist aside from their regualr OB (like I do). I have a pregnancy condition (hyperemisis Gravidarum). People with heart disease, High Blood Pressure, over 35, history of family conditions that are a possible threat to the baby and the list goes on.

Re: March Mommies to be

Hey Ladies! I'm so happy that there's a thread for all of us March Mommy to be's!
This is my first, I'm 17w 5d. The beginning was really rough, but now I'm starting to really enjoy my pregnancy. I love love love food again (woohoo!) and I'm TOTALLY showing. I just popped over night somewhere in my 15 week. We've decided not to find out what we are having-even though I'm convinced its a girl. I guess I have to wait til my due date to find out (which btw, is March 6th).
Congratulations to everyone! Chat Icon Chat Icon Here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy (don't worry that's sparkling cider in thereChat Icon )

Hi Ladies! I'm due April 1st so I hope you don't mind me crashing your March Mommy chat. Chat Icon I am 14 weeks pregnant and my MS is just starting to lessen. I'm still having bad days here and there but I'm hoping its on the way out. I started wearing maternity things last week. I couldn't fit in my regular pants and didn't want to buy a size up since my sister-in-law gave me all her maternity stuff. The adjustable pants from Old Navy are great. Right now I have them on the tightest setting and they fit pretty well. No movement for me yet, but its still early.

I'm 14w1d - due March 30. I have little belly - but it looks more like a beer belly. I'm in maternity clothes b/c I was SO uncomfortable in my regular suits and jeans so I got some pants with a little elastic in the back.

I could have written this myself-including the due date and how far along I am! I am feeling pretty good overall, especially during the day, but I have been very nauseous at night, off & on. It actually went away for a few weeks but it's back. I had many aversions in my 1st trimester, but it's getting better also. Still skeeve chicken though. Glad to see so many other March mommies!

Re: March Mommies to be

Hi there! I've been lurking for a couple of months now... figured I would finally introduce myself Chat Icon I am 14 weeks 3 days, due March 28th and this is my third pregnancy. We got married in 1998 and ttc immediately with no luck. We mc in Jan 2003, adopted our beautiful daughter in July of 2006 and in May of 2007 surprise surprise I got preggers. I mc, but got pregnant during my next cycle (I am extremely irregular, PCOS, Diabetes.. blah blah). Anyway, all is well thus far. My Ultrascreen came back great (thank God) and my Dr. seems very positive this time (although I'm nervous as h e l l).

I am not showing, only look like I am really bloated. Still fit into my regular clothes, although they are snug after I eat.

My boobs are huge (and I'm pretty big to begin with) and still so sore. Aside from that, fatigue and severe mood swings (at least according to DH) are really my only symptoms. Hope you are all feeling well!
Best of luck to all of you for a happy, healthy 5+ more months!

I had to go to one too because around 6w I developed a peri sac hematoma (noticed it because of some very light spotting). So I went for 2 visits, but now I am in the clear and almost 16w!

Re: March Mommies to be

Hi everyone! I'm due March 28th.

I felt pretty crappy during the first trimester and over the last week or so I've started to feel much better.

I'm in the "beer gut" stage where my clothes are starting to get uncomfortable, but it's too soon for maternity clothes. I actually cant wait to start showing so i can put on some comfy maternity pants!!

I had a sonogram a couple of weeks ago and the tech said she thinks it's a girl but she wont know for sure until the next sono.

Re: March Mommies to be

Hi Everyone! I am a little over 18 weeks and due on March 2nd. I am one of the lucky ones. I had no morning sickness, but was tired all the time in my 1st trimester. Now I just get tired really early. I feel like I just started showing within the past week or so. Although I am not counting anything until I get a seat on the subway! Chat Icon I am trying to patiently wait to feel the baby. I thought I felt something a few weeks ago but haven't felt anything since. We go for the Level II next week! So excited to see the baby again! Chat Icon

It's only for certain people. I started going to a high risk doctor because I was on Metformin for my elevated insulin levels. He made me stop my medication and do the 1-hour glucose test last week. I go back to them on the 18th to get my results and to see if I will need to be put back on different medication. If I need other meds then I will need to continue to see him throughout the pregnancy.

Hi all - I'm 18 weeks today - Due on March 4th. We found out yesterday that we are having a boy Chat Icon We also learned that the baby is measuring big - so I may have him in Feb. It's starting to feel so real now.

I was also lucky - no mornng sickness - just PURE exhaustion. I have gained about 4 lbs so far. I am also in maternity clothes - they just started to fit two weeks ago. I may never give up maternity pants! I feel as if I am huge although everyone tells me I just have a belly. The baby is also lying low Chat Icon He is also loving kicking. I have been feeling little pokes the last week...LOVE this feeling!

Re: March Mommies to be

Another March mom to be here... due March 16th I am 16 weeks 3 days and will be finding out if its a boy or girl in 3 1/2 weeks at our next appointment. I am in all maternity for pants though can still fit into some of my shirts but definitly look pregnant when I do so. I was one of those who was sooo sick the first trimester so I am happy that at this point I am just a little tired with an occasional headache. Looking forward to the next 5-6 months.
