I've started my search for a...
babysitter so DH & I can get out sometimes. I'm finding some interesting things on Craig's List. Look at this posting:
"This site is such a disappointment. First of all, I have found NOTHING but crappy ads that were free for someone to write asking for a whole LOT w/next to NOTHING to offer and even less to show for themselves. If you think you are "Raising" someone's kids because you care for them for 6 hours a day or whatever you are ignorant and certainly aren't running a household and raising children yourself or you would never make such an immature and ignorant statement that lacks tremendous insight. And this ridiculous claim that your services are so specialized and wonderful... you didn't go to school for this! I'm sorry did I forget your MBA in "raising other's children?" Hopefully, you have a decent personality and are a caring person with half a brain in their head... that's what it takes to be a decent babysitter. Oh, and having a few babysitting jobs here and there hardly qualify you to earn 12-15 per hour tax free. Get over yourselves! Bring youself down from your pedestal and go to school or invest in yourself in some way so that you don't have to keep this act up. Good luck!
PS- A "real" nanny shouldn't be placing ads on a free site browsing for work if her profession and skills were so highly regarded. This is FREE site looking for babysitters.
