I've always LOVED the name Nina. It's a beautiful name. I think Nina Grace sounds very nice together.

What's wrong with Nina Grace? Don't get it--when you said everyone hated the name you choose, I was thinking it must be something very outlandish, but those are both nice names, and not odd names at all.
I would stop telling people if that's the reaction you are getting. If people ask about names, just say you are both still thinking about it. You have picked two lovely names that mean something to DH and you, so don't worry about what others think.

I kind of had the same thing but look at it this way, the less people who like it, the less people who will name their child that  negative comments actually made us like our names even more. and names grow on people bc i heard my mom telling someone the other day how cute our boy's name is when she tried to get me to change it for MONTHS after she first heard it.

Nina Grace is differnt and beautiful....
People will always have opinions-we went through something similar. The name we chose wasnt "ethnic" enough for some but who cares. Its what DH and I liked.

In my DD's daycare there is a beautiful little girl named Nina Lee.
It is original, and there probably won't be other girls with the same name in her class when she goes to school. Stick with what you love!
