10 years ago I was starting my senior year of college. By now I thought I would be married, have a h ouse and at least one child. All of that is a check.
The thing in my head....definitely not part of the plan though.

Also, from your avatar/name should I assume PS lost this weekend?
I guess I should answer my own question. 
I was just starting grad school, meeting this guy in my class who I thought very little of - he would turn out to be my DH.
I thought by 32 I would have at least 2 kids, be living in a fabulous Manhattan apartment looking over Central Park and be the head of HR for ESPN.
Funny how things shift.
And yes - PSU lost to Michigan - again.

I was in college, drinking heavily!! Had the best time!! I think I thought i would be a parent by now. Everything else...I am right on track!

I was 25 and dating my BF - my now DH. I can honestly say it was a great time in my life, everything was just going right at that time.
I am where I thought I would be. Married, kids, SAHM. I wish it would have happened a little sooner than it all did, but I can't complain.

I was in my 2nd year of college and having a great time. I had no clue where I would be in 10 years, but hoped I would have a great job that I loved, a husband, a house and maybe a kid by now.
Got the job and husband, and am working on the other 2. Not bad!

I was a few months out of college at my first full time job. I was trying to end a very emotionally abusive relationship of a few years that was headed toward physical abuse. Once I was finally able to leave he stalked me for a long time.
My DH was my best friend back then, but we both would have laughed our @sses off if you told us then that we'd be married with 2 kids now!

Very similar...I was 24, dating DH for a bit over 6 months - still in that incredible new phase of a relationship. It was a fantastic time in my life.
I am where I thought I'd be - married, house, job. I never thought about kids until a little bit further in the relationship...I didn't want them until I met DH (well, actually his niece).
Things are great...sometimes fantastic, sometimes good...sometimes difficult. Wouldn't trade spots with my "10 year ago self" for anything in the world.

I was in a deep depression because I caught my ex-fiance with another woman 2 weeks before our wedding! It was a dark, dark time in my life. Blessing in disguise, though.

Ha! If only I knew then what I knew now....
10 years ago today I was 19 about to turn 20 in 3 weeks...and if you told me that this is what life was going to be like, I would have quickly turned around and jumped to make sure that I would never have a life like this.
I figured I would be married and I am and thats the only good thing I have going right now!

This is a pretty funny question..10 years ago, I had recently broke up/called off the engagement with my STBX. The reason? His mother was mixing in where she didn't belong and he "chose" her. He came back into my life six months later, promising me that things changed. how interesting how time carries on yet some people never change...the last few weeks have been a true reflection for me in terms of the last ten years. Outside of the birth of my daughter, I wish with all my heart that I had never given him a second, third...twentieth chance I am definitely NOT where I wanted to be but I'm well on my way

Still in college, living it up with my crew team buddies.
And I never thought I would be where I am today (happily married with 1 child and another one on the way.) I always imagined myself as single and in the law enforcement field.

Lets see I was ending the most awesome summer I had... I was at the beach every weekend!!!! Living it up becuase I knew it was time to get a REAL job since I just graduated college in May.
I did not like the person I was dating at all but waiting for the right time to make my exit....(which took me another 8 months
And I thought I had plenty of time to get married and have kids. I foun dmy Mr. Right and we are workingon the kids part... so overall I am happy with where I am today! I miss the carefree days though...

I was 20, had just met DH about 6 weeks before, and started the second of three semesters at Nassau Community after failing out of another college for too much partying and a variety of other reasons 
I never in a million years thought I'd go to, or graduate from, NYU, go to law school and be practicing for four years at this point. Nor did I think I'd be married to DH for four years but I was hoping Honestly thought I'd probably marry someone else and have a baby by now but I'm pretty happy with how things are!

19.....dating dh for a yr.....fighting for a 130 curfew with my parents every weekend and finally winning (and of course staying out later than that and fighting about it the next day ) just started college thinking i was going to be a psychologist but more concerned about the weekend plans and what bar we were gonna go to not a REAL care in the world
well yes and no for the question about if im at where i thought i was going to be at this age
yes bc i love what i do for a living which is the one thing i always wanted (yes i wanted to be rich but hey i guess not everyone can have both...lol) and i always felt that dh was "the one" it just took a while for him to settle himself down and allow himself to be ok with the fact that it was ok to feel the same about me sooooooo that leads me into
no bc i thought we would have married at 26 or 27 when we really just got married in March (29) and I thought I would've had my first child by now and we haven't started to even ttc
but i think my life is pretty damn good so far....i fell in love at an early age and married him and we simply adore each other .....i have a steady job/career that I love....teaching....and we are on to buying our first house so ttc isnt so far away from possible anymore
