photoshop questions
I would like to photoshop some pics. How much does photoshop cost? Is it worth it? Are there other good picture editers that are free?

i think you could probably get PS elements for around $100.
i got CS2 a couple of years ago (now you'd get CS3), and i think it was somewhere around $600-700.. i dont remember exactly.

I think they have a 30 day free trial if you need a one-time thing. I would think most of what you'd want to do, you could use elements.

Or if you know someone who is an educator - you can get a sweet discount. I'm talking the whole creative suite for like $300. Try journeyed.com to see what's out there.

GIMP
100% legally free tool. Nearly all the features of Photoshop, but none of the cost. I've been using it for years.
