What the heck is going on here? (pic)
On my front porch, I have ants just laying there, kinda like they're sleeping. They're not dead at all. It seems as if they're going in this hole in the brick.
What can I do to get rid of them? It looks like carpenter ants!!! Image Attachment(s):

I would dump a kettle of boiling water down the hole, and then keep doing that for a while until it seems like they aren't coming out anymore.

Put some Cinnamon near it and they'll disappear. Ants are DEATHLY afraid of Cinnamon!!!!!!!!

Okay, I burnt the crap out of them with some boiling water. I poured it down the hole (I don't even know where that water is going  ) and then sprinkled cinnamon around the hole as well.
Thanks for the advice ladies. I think I'm going to pick up some spray as well.

wow, I never knew this....good tip, thanks
the hubby thought I was out of my mind one day when he came home to the smell of cinnamon...(which he's allergic to)....needless to say, it totally works and he sprinkles it down whenever we even see one ant in the house!
