Question about this site
Does everyone here know each other? I have to admit, I'm from NJ, so I feel like I shouldn't be on these boards. But, I have to say that everyone here is super nice and informative and I haven't found any other site like this. I had my daughter one month ago and I always look here for answers to my crazy questions.

Well, we all know each other from posting.
Some people know eachother IRL (in real life) but most of us don't.
You will see that a lot of us went from the TTC board to the pregnancy board to the parenting board, so we went throught the whole process together. So that's how we "know" each other.
We always welcome new people and help whenever we can. ALL are welcome. Even people from Jersey.

Some of the girls do know each other whether it be before joining or meeting up with one another with get togethers, most of us don't though.
I lived on LI up until 7 years ago, and I LOVE the ladies here, and while I "know" and talk to some ladies more, I haven't been able to actually meet.
Anyone is welcome here!

I have met a few people here, both from LIW as well as from LIF. I live in NJ too. Welcome! There are a few of us NJ girls on here 
Niether DH nor I have ever lived on LI. I found LIW because we got married in Cederhurst.

I "met" everyone by posting. I did discover that I knew a few posters (not moms) from high school or college. A few years ago, I convinced my SIL (LaurenExp) to join the board.
I've met many moms in person. Twin Mama has started putting courses for us to get together, meet & learn something so I'm starting to meet even more people.
There are a few people from NJ, CA, NC, etc. I think everyone is welcome here.
