I am so sorry! I will keep you in my prayers! I know what its like to have a sick father, and I know what it's like to have a cancer patient in the family. Stay positive, you can cry to us anytime!!!
I really admire your strength not to cry in front of your dad. I don't think I could be that strong!

I can tell you that now it looks so hard and so bleak and you are worried about everything all at once, but things have a way of working out. he can beat the lymphoma and then they can work on the rest.
It's painful and annoying and scary all at the same time for him but you are keeping a good face for him. BTW-it's ok to tell him you're scared too.
You will see some hard times but in the end he will emerge better.
Keep the faith sweetie..I have and the good people of this site have helped me more than you know through my tears and hard times.
Freddy came back from unbelievable odds against him because he fought. Tell your dad to keep the fight in him. When he thinks he has no more fight, you fight for him.
It will be worth it, I promise you!
for you and your family.
Come on Dad...FIGHT!!

As some of the other posters said, Hodgkins lymphoma is considered to be one of the most curable forms of cancer. When I told my DH about your father's condition, her reminded me that his cousin was diagnosed with Hodkins several years ago and he is doing fine today. It was a very difficult couple of years for DHs cousin, and at times we thought we were going to loose him...but today he is wonderful and living a full and happy life.
So hang in there, and tell your dad to keep fighting
