LI IVF or RMA Garden City? Any advice/experiences good or bad?

After 3 failed IVF cycles w/ Reproductive Specialist of NY, I feel it is definately time to move on. I have narrowed it down to LI IVF or RMA Garden City. I would greatly appreciate any information regarding either practice. Thanks!

I am seeing Dr. Kenigsberg at LI-IVF and am happy there. I truly believe he is doing all he can do.
I also met with Dr. Flisser at RMA in Garden City and was very impressed. I only went to see him for a second opinion but liked him a lot. If he had told me that anything could have been done differently I may have switched.
It doesn't hurt that he's pretty hot too!Chat Icon

I see Dr. Flisser at RMA and I am very happy there. His staff is great and they are good about calling back. Best part is that there is hardly ever anyone there (other patients) I think since the office is so new. The most I've ever waited was 15 minutes. And yes he is definitely cute for an RE haha.

Although I am having a tough time right now I'm happy with the treatment I've gotten so far. I left RSNY as well.

My advice, get a consult with both and see which one you feel more comfortable with. But I can definitely recommend RMA.

I second Dr. K at LI-IVF! But I hear Dr. Brenner is great if you're going to be going to the Lake Success office!

I was a patient of Dr. Brenner's. He is mainly at the Lake Success office, but he is also in Melville on Tuesdays.

The staff there was so great, patient, and compassionate. I mainly went to Melville for blood and sonos.

I was very happy with my treatment there, and I am 18 weeks pregnant today.

Good luck.

LOL about the "hot" comments about Dr. Flisser! I suppose he has the cute-nerd look going on, but not really my type. Regardless of his looks, I owe him my life and definitely do recommend him...I succeeded in my 2nd IVF cycle with him and am currently 16 weeks pregos Chat Icon I have actually had a very exciting past few days- my DH and I finally were ready to announce the news. It was VERY nerve-wracking to do since I have had a series of miscarriages, but ever since letting everyone know I have been on cloud 9 Chat Icon

Anyway, as Carolyn mentioned, the waiting room was always empty so I never had to wait and was able to enjoy my privacy. Dr. Flisser's nurse Laura was amazing and gave a lot of advice and support, especially after my first failed ivf. I really have no complaints, except parking was sometimes a pain. On the other hand, the office is located right across from Roosevelt Field aka my sanctuary during times of stress Chat Icon

Best of luck to you in making your decision!
