I don't want people to know we are TTC becuase I do not know how diffiuclt it might be for us becuase I have had some obgyn history. Then I would have to hear all the questions behind, whats taking so long? How are you feeling? Are you prego yet?

I've had some posted before but after what happened today I am a little freaked out by it all. So I took them down. I don't think I wil be posting many pics anymore. You never know who is on here.

I post pictures here only once in a while.
Sometimes I am uncomfortable about clients spotting me online. Some of them have been to my myspace page, but I have been lucky that those are younger clients who realize that I am allowed to have some fun. I posted wedding photos on LIW. Wedding photos are innocent enough, I decided.
In addition, I have an ex who follows/stalks me. I do not think he knows that I post here but he does not deserve to know anything about me. He is the reason that I sometimes delete my name from my profile.

Fear of lurkers. I've seen a lot people on here post that they had people following all there posts and it was people that they knew. I'm just a private person for the most part and I know Dh would not want pics of him posted on the internet. I really enjoy this sight though.

I pulled all my photos off recently. I don't like that other people can copy them and stuff...mainly b/c normal people save a photo for a good reason--copy someone's hair/they like your dress, etc.
Recently, someone on another website took a wedding photo of mine and posted it somewhere and said I was basically not very pretty. I got my little feelings hurt. I didn't want something like that to happen again. I shouldn't care what a stranger thinks, but it really got me down. (but what the heck...i will post a shot of my hair soon anyway; i have to get over it) and you feel your prettiest at your wedding day; the fact that someone did that and started a whole thread about how NOT pretty I am was like...really mean.

I don't post pics of myself or DH for privacy reasons. Really, that's it. I really don't want pictures plastered all over the internet in public forums. Maybe that's me being a little paranoid, but that's it. I don't think everyone should have to display names and pictures if they do not feel comfortable with it.
Exactly the reason I don't post any personal info, including pics of myself, my DH or my DD. Once you put something out there, even if you take it down minutes later, dozens of people could have seen it and could have saved it. (I know I'm not that interesting that anyone would CARE to keep pics of me, but I still like my privacy.) I see people posting their name, town, age, birthday, high school, job, etc. It's their decision to post these things, and I know I'm probably being paranoid, but I don't feel comfortable with it so I won't do it.
I like to post on here, I like reading the advice everyone has and I love the stories people have, so I hope I don't offend people on here b/c of this.

I too am pretty private and am very uncomfortable posting pictures or even my kids names out there for anyone to read. With regard to my kids, the thought of their images being used in any way, even a complimentary one, by a stranger, just kinds of freaks me out. I also think that I am a little older than most of you (almost 41) and just generally less comfortable with the internet/public nature of forums in general.
I do have to say that most of the woman on here appear to me to be genuine people , some of whom I would love to meet in the future.

i have met a bunch of girls from the site and some have even been at my house. i will post house pics on the home forum but no pics of me or personal info. reason being? public forum. i have had some lurker issues in the past and again now.

I had a "stalker" on LIW. Someone I knew went back and read all my old posts and was confronting me about things. I did not write anything bad, just the whole thought of it freaked me out! So on here I rather not post pictures.

Same here. I have met moms from here and they can confirm I am real. I have patients and work with the public, for that reason alone I choose to stay this way.

I don't necessarily consider that stalking.
There are people on here whom I question there "authenticity", so I definitely go back and review their old posts and more often than not, I find inconsistencies. I don't confront them on it, I just make the decision for myself whether I think they're full of sh*t or not.

I don't post pics b/c of privacy..and i have nothing to post but myself. I would never post a pic of my fiance b/c he's more private then i am and i dont have children so nothing to post there. I joined LIF b/c of the teacher board. Now i just decided i would join in the fun on the Celebrity gossip (b/c i love that)! and the NFR.

I have said this before, but I never post pics of my family because I am a private person.
There have been times on this forum where people will post pics of themselves or their family members, and then post something about themselves that is way TMI . Why someone would do this is beyond me!
I have actually recognized a couple of people on here from the pics they post, and I feel almost embarrassed for them because I know wayyyy more than I want to about them!
I guess some people dont care, or forget that this is a PUBLIC forum,,,,who knows who could be reading-this is why I am leery.
