Do you vote?

Are you registered to vote & do you actually vote? Do you vote just for the "big" elections or everything from school board members to the President?
If you don't, what is your reason?

There are so many topics that get me fired up & I'm always surprised at how few people vote for all elections. Lots of people on LI complain about taxes, corrupt school boards & other stuff, but I know most people don't vote at every election. I had made it a point to vote for EVERYTHING from now on. That is until I'm elected queen, then I won't need to vote

I vote for almost everything. The only time I won't vote is if I haven't read up on the issues & don't know the candidates.

My reference to the 2008 election was because I think this administration has a difficult time admitting they made ANY mistakes (even the glaring obvious ones like Plame & the AGs). The only way out of this war is a new President with a plan to get out.

nrthshgrl, i was creating this poll after reading about another tragic, senseless loss of life in your area & while kelly was writting her thread. i guess our minds are all on the same thing

I've been 'able' to vote for the past 6 elections, and i have voted in four (one i didn't vote since i was out of state, the other because i didn't know anybody who was running).

I plan on voting from here on out for all november elections

I'm registered to vote and I vote for all elections, big or small.
