OMG, holy overpriced. I even mapped it to see its location, its an ok location, but not worth $495 for a 1 bed, 1 bath. Give me a break now

 I paid less for our house and we have an apartment in our house and two baths and a pool. They are crazy. I don't think they will ever get that amount even though it's in Wantagh. Crazy people!

When we were looking for an apartment, our RE agent sent us MLS listings of everything that fit our criteria for neighborhoods/prices. One apartment was a TRAILER in Syosset for $1500 A MONTH. Utilities weren't included.
A trailer! In someone's yard. For 1500 a month! I wish I had saved that listing, but that was before I started posting here. We had such a laugh over that one.

Our townhouse is more than $100k less than that, 3 bedrooms, 1 full and 2 half baths, full finished basement, attic... Granted, we don't have that kind of property, but we also have more than 3 rooms.

Someone with a ton of Moolah will buy it, tear it down and build new. So, to ask that price, isn't such a bad idea, they just have to wait it out for a buyer.

SO true. With the size of that lot, they could put a monstrosity on it. In my neighborhood, people are buying small starter houses, knocking them down, and constructing some huge blow out house.
But really. A half a mill?
