McDonalds Rant
I'm boycotting.
After hearing all about how yummy the coffee is there I went this morning to get an iced decaf.
They don't have iced decaf, only regular iced. But they have flavored iced coffee.
I was ready for a sausage, egg and cheese too but that blew it.
I'm better off for it now, but I won't go there anymore. I feel discriminated against.
I know I'm taking it way left here, but come on, how hard is this?

exactly. The guy looked at me with a puzzeled look. I'm sure they have dispensers with the iced coffee ready to go so they don't have to do that. It makes sense. So the are alienating iced decaf drinkers.

nope, I'm not doing self service..then I would be asking for more ice because of the meltdown.

As a coffee snob, I will say that often iced coffee is brewed stronger, so that when they put the ice in, it doesn't dilute the coffee. I don't think the people at McDonalds were thinking about this, though.
I don't think McDonalds coffee is anything special. I have tried after hearing people say how good it is. I think it is better than most other fast food places, but nothing to make a special trip for.

Yep, I agree. that's why my favorite iced "coffee" is an iced americano from "Bucks". I'm a coffee snob but can only drink decaf so I'm always on the lookout for great decaf.

If I need a good strong cup of joe in the am then I get their regular coffee. For some reason all the other "Coffee" places are on the wrong side of the road on my way to work..
