have it to you will be very surprised how many girls have it it is very common.. i had a colposcopy then a leap procedure to see if there were any cancerous cells there werent you will be fine too...i just recently had a pap done and i was clear of hpv sometimes it goes away on its own (as per my gyno) if you want to fm me feel free

HPV can resolve itself (which I think means, you can test some cells, and you do not get a positive result for HPV).
However, once you've had a positive HPV test, HPV stays in the body forever. So, if you eventually end up with negative HPV tests, the HPV has entered a latent phase. As for how long latent phases last, I have no idea, I guess that's why it's good to keep up with PAPs.

Good Luck, hopefully the biopsy will prove that things are ok. If its anything and you need to have a LEEP done, I am having it done on august 8th and can let you know how it goes.
