Getting to Manhattan College?

I am taking a class at Manhattan College for a week. Does anyone know what is the best way to get there everyday (from Suffolk)?

I spent 5 years there for under grad and grad, but lived on campus Chat Icon

Hmmm, not sure if the way I went would be helpful, since it was a back way to avoid the Cross Bronx Expressway. After going over the Throggs Neck, I took the exit for 233rd Street and took that all the way north, then hopped on the Deegan going south 1 exit.

But here's the simplest way, not taking into account traffic Chat Icon

Take the LIE to Exit 31N for the Cross Island Parkway. Take CIP to the Throggs Neck Bridge. Continue on Cross Bronx Expy/I-95. Take exit 1C to merge onto I-87 N/Major Deegan Expy.

Take exit 11 for Van Cortlandt Park South. Turn right at Broadway/US-9 and then a left at Manhattan College Pkwy, which will be right after the el (overhead subway).

Which building are you going to?

Thank you so much! I am not sure yet which building it is, they haven't sent me the details yet.

A few years ago I took a weeklong class there as well... for AP training. I hate to tell you this but the traffic was horrendous and the commute every day was hours.

You may want to leave a lot earlier before most cars are on the road, get there faster and then go for breakfast or do your reading while you are up there instead of sitting in traffic.

The quad area is beautiful in the morning.
