eBay Question
If I sold an item today should I run out and ship it now or is it OK to wait until Monday?
Do you notify the buyer that you have shipped?

You can run out if you like but Monday is perfectly fine.
I only notify the buyer if I ship more then 3 business days after payment - that's what I promise in my auctions. If I ship within my promised shipping window, I don't notify them. You should do whatever you are comfy with.

can I hijack your thread and ask if you use paypal for payments? I was thinking about selling some stuff on ebay.
I do not think one day would matter (not counting Sunday).

if I sold something that late on a Saturday, I would just ship it out on Monday. I send a notification to all my buyers when I receive payment. if I ship UPS, I send them a follow up email with the tracking #.

Monday is fine. It is courtesy to notify that the item is shipped but not necessary.
