i actually recall crying at work over something- just being overwhelmed- but it had to be over 2 weeks ago
to be honest ive been pretty good lately ... this post reminded me that if I cant remembe thel ast time I cried that I must be pretty darn content with life

Thursday when I was teaching.
I teach ESL to Koreans, Brazilians, Japanese and a Thai student in this one class. It was my first day teaching this class b/c of other reasons and I have them for the next three weeks on Thursday and Fridays.
I was putting them in pairs for group speaking activities and naturally I put different language groups together so they must talk English (It is a low level class and sometimes it is easier to just switch to their native langauge). As I tried to put a Brazilian and a Korean together the Brazilian DID not want to work with the Korean. He tried picking a new partner, but it wouldnt work with what I had planned. He then shouted out why? I saw because I said so. If you dont like it you can leave. He then goes on to say "I cant understand Koreans". and then gets up to leave.
This poor girl just started crying as soon as he left the room. B/c she was crying I started crying. I also got upset b/c it was a form of racism and all the Koreans in the class were just left to feel awful. It is a low level and they dont need this while they are learning. They try so hard and English isnt an easy language. 
And these students are college age. He acted like a 10 year old.

I cried on Monday leaving my Mom, sister and bother in Ireland. Mostly I cried leaving my brother. I feel bad that I didnt get to spend a lot of time with him.

This morning...I was reading a book about how to prepare for your new puppy (which we should be getting next week  ). It explained how the pup is going to need nurturing and understanding because it is being taken away from its mother and the other pups it's used to being around. OMG! That was it for me, I started crying my eyes out!

Wednesday night - multiple things.
What started the flood was reading my friend's update on her 8 year old.
He just had surgery (lost his right eye) and has 20 more rounds of chemo to go.
I can't even imagine.

Today, when the pendant that I got DD, Ava for her 3rd birthday came in the mall.
It is a silver disc on a chain. Printed around the circle is:
"The Angels Danced The Day You Were Born"
It is sooo true!!!!

Wednesday when a presenter in my class told a story about this HS student that had been placed in all sorts of classrooms and no one could work with him...
He went to hers and didn't seem to be writing at all and ended up giving her the first draft of a beautiful piece of writing about his father who had died when he was younger...

I cry everyday now that I have my baby. When I feed her, she stares at me and she's just so beautiful I cry.
Then I wanted to cry tonight when I was trying on clothes and I realized I still look pregnant, but I'm not.

ita... to those who have been crying sad tears lately. i think the last time i cried was over a month ago when someone on my dissertation committee was giving me the runaround...so i guess i am pretty lucky.

Last night- DH put on "I Cross My Heart" by George Strait (randomly) and just started slow dancing with me and I lost it on the first few lines... the music playing in the beginning and then "Our love is unconditional, I knew it from the start" gets me every time!!!
