I have a question for you. Are you going to stage a civil rights march for the two police officers that were shot on Monday in Brooklyn? Or are you going to ignore the whole situation because the officers were not African-American and the assiliant was (whispers) black.

He's so vile and disgusting. He is a true parasite.

I am torn between wondering if he has the balls to say something, and not wanting these families to be subjected to his empty, fake, meaningless comments.

this may be "out there" (and may also get flamed but I don't give a sh1t) but I feel he is at least partially to BLAME for this.

it is because of HIM that the officers of the NYPD have to second, third, and fourth guess themselves when they go out to face a potential "perp". In those split seconds, when they think about the media backlash, possibly losing their jobs/prison time...that the potentially deadly perps get the upper hand.

it is because of HIM and the sympathy he generates for those he rallies for that perps seem to be (to ME) more emboldened....he practically gives perps a level of PROTECTION from media mockery and scrutiny...b/c they know good ol' Rev Al will find a way to spin it in their favor.

Now, I am saying PERPS specifically, b/c I KNOW there have been cases of police brutality, mistaken identity...Amadu Dialo and all cases like his. I KNOW THAT and I am consciously making the distinction.

Rev Al stands for nothing good. nothing righteous. he stands for himself. plain and simple.

I have two things to add to this.
1. He was going on some talk show yesterday and debating the editor of TMZ.com b/c they called Beyonce a roboho for this outift and Rev al claimed it was racist. Although it was not the nicest thing to say, it was funny and how on earth was it racisit? maybe agaist robots, but i didn't know they had civil rights too! The man is useless...he only stirs up c - rap!

2. What happened to these two police officers should shed some sort of light on the Sean Bell incident. While it was a terrible tragedy and the cops may have messed up, people should now understand why they reacted as they did. These are the types of things that happen to cops when they approach people. They assume the worst and how can they not.....I am not trying to start anything, i just think that this shows how dangerous it is for cops to approach cars. I wonder what al would say to that!

I wonder if we could start a letter writing campaign, and every time some injustice happens, call for his help.
