Canal Street
I know I know...most people don't go because they don't want to support the fake bags...but my friend wants to go. I, on the other hand, don't want a fake bag...but I would like to get something else. I haven't been there in a LONG time...what else can I expect people to be selling???
Can you tell I need to shop??

Re: Canal Street
t shirts, hats...all the blah blah stuff.
If anything, I suggest going to Pearl River Market (on Broadway, one block over from Canal) to get some chinese inspired dishes/clothes...something other than the knock off bag/hat/shirt/scarf.
other than that...Prince St. and all it's shopping glory is about 8 blocks away...with the Soho Bloomies welcoming you about 5 blcks after Canal Street.
If you know Chinatown, go to the Chinatown Ice Cream factory for some delicous ice cream. that in and of itself is worth the trip.
Have fun!
