ok because i'm paranoid lol
I want to look at an apartment that I saw on Craig's list, but of course I have no one available to go with me to look at it. I'm one of those paranoid people and it is craig's list so you never know it could be some crazy person.
Should I stop being so worried and go?

well so far the guy renting it has always been quick to answer any of my questions and its a great town, but i'm just always overly paranoid and because its craigs list you really never know.

I went to look at the apartment I'm in now alone and I found it on Craig's List... definitely go with your gut.. maybe do a drive by to gauge the house and the neighborhood... and if you do decided to go alone go during the day and keep your cell phone in your hand at all times!

Ok well I read this before and I agree with the above posters saying if you're uncomfortable in the least bit, don't go alone. Then I'm reading newsday.com and this is the article I read... link Obviously this is a very unlikely situation, I don't know how this woman found out about this apartment, and I'm sure most posts for apartments are legit, but I thought about you and wanted to tell you to be careful and please bring someone with you if you are in the least bit worried.

Definitely go with your gut and wait until you have someone to go with you.
I do like the idea of doing a "drive by" to get a feel for the house. You could do that on your own.

I wouldn't have a problem going alone but I would be on the lookout for anything that was unusual.
Make sure someone knows where you are.
