Re: Name some dorky things you do
ALWAYS go see Harry Potter on opening night.
Take my lunch to work in a dorky soft lunch box.
Need some light on (TV or otherwise) at night-- especially when I am alone.
Always need to eat frozen yogurt with a plastic spoon-- this tastes better to me as well.
I am sure loads of other things, but can't think.

Re: Name some dorky things you do
I am a dork. Everything I do is the opposite of whatever is cool.
For example... I make square, round, rectangular & pyramid shaped meatballs with spaghetti so that I can talk about geometry with my kids at dinner.
I record Billy & Mandy so I can watch it... after the kids are asleep.
I have an itty bitty book light so I can read in bed while my husband sleeps.
I underline, highlight and make comments in the margins of all of my books.
I lift my feet when crossing a drawbridge or toll bridge and make a wish.
I still look for 4 leaf clovers

OMG HOW CUTE !!!!!! My boys have made meatballs several times now (I delegate everything ) and they came out in all sorts of silly shapes, but it was so cute!

Re: Name some dorky things you do
Comfort seems more important to me these days than fashion.
I'm a nature dork. I can tell you what kind of bird it is by it's call. I love sharing this with my husband- he always rolls his eyes.

I do that too!!!!!
I always kiss my husband 3x. I don't know why, I just do. Once I guess just isn't enough for me.
I can't sleep if the closet door is open.
I need to have my sheets tucked in when I sleep. My husband is the opposite so half way across the mattress is tucked and the other isn't.

Add a little extra bread to the ones that you intend to 'shape' - just a bit extra. And PAN FRY them first to help them hold their shape. You can keep pushing the uncooked sides back in place while you fry. Just brown them. You can use the browned bits on the bottom of the pan to start your sauce too. mmmm

Wait, this is sounding a little too time consuming
Im a speedy chef. Speed and use of the least items possible are key (yeah, my mom has disowned me as an Italian daughter )
Can I bake them in the oven instead?

Yep.. but the edges won't look as sharp. Still cool though! And still effective to show how mass can be the same - regardless of shape.

I don't know how he sleeps comfortably, he ends up with the sheets wrapped all around his legs. That would drive me crazy!!

I feel your pain... DH had to explain to me one day that the chorus to the song "dirty deeds" by ACDC is "Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap" and not "Dirty deeds, done der jeep".

SAUCE OUT OF A JAR !!!!!!! *CRASH - BANG*
I havent stepped that far away from my family's rules yet
I saw my SIL use jarred sauce once, and you'd have thought I saw a ghost
It's actually pretty good
Well we dont crush our own tomatoes anymore either... so we're not exactly following my grandma's rules either, God rest her soul.

What can I say? I've always been the rebel in the family!
I have to admit it DOES bother me that I don't know how to make a sauce. I think the worst part is that as I understand it, it's pretty simple to do.
My parents use tomatoes from a can too...

But she'll eat fast food.. yep you make sense mom
ETA: ALthough my dad DID ask for Espresso at a Chinese restaurant once
