When dh/dw/so doesn't call.....
do u get nervous? i think i get it from my mom. dh was stuck on the train with a sick passenger. he had to wait on the hot platform with his head cold. i was getting nervous. it was like 45 min later t han he normally calls.

Yes.. I get nervous - but only because Rob is generally amazing about being on time and being where he is supposed to be when he is supposed to be there. If he is going to be late or delayed he ALWAYS calls. There has been only one exception and I was so nervous I threw up. But ultimately he was fine.. just a miscommunication!

No. I always assume he's fine.
There was only one time that I worried, but it was because he wasn"t answering & didn't come home. Last time that will ever happen.

I get nervous when I don't hear from DH after a certain amount of time. I always chalk it up to being a little "uptight," and give him an hour or so from when I feel I should have heard from him. Then I'll call to make sure everything's ok.
I think that made sense...

I try not to, but, I do.
DH always calls "Im leaving work now".
I know it takes 30 mins. to get home.
If he's not home within 45 mins I start to get a little nervous. Anything over that, I get extremely nervous.

Yes I get nervous since he always calls or comes home, etc..n time
He does the same with me, its like the hunt is on if I dont call or am late somewhere, but I think its cute, making sure im safe

My dh and I go the entire day sometimes without speaking to each other. If he was supposed to call and it was really way past that time I may call but usually I figure he is just busy

When my DH does not call I assume he is on a conference call, in a meeting or playing the drums. When he is out of town on business and does not call me the minute his plane lands or he gets through customs, I get po'd. I think in this day and age it's important he calls after a plane ride.

yes - he used to be terrible at calling and then I explained why it was important he did so. He's gotten a million times better but once in awhile he still forgets.

We don't really call each other during the day, we'll e-mail, though. He owns a SCUBA diving shop so he has the retail store and he also charters dives. The only time he calls is when he goes wreck diving, and if he didn't call I'd get worried.
I think any wife who's husband has an occupation that has any element of danger from outside forces would probably worry if their DH didn't call and they were expecting them to.

Not unless he is wasy past the normal time. If that happened he will call and say he is staying late. He does this NOW since I told him if he didnt call I would kill him. All after one night he decided to stay 2 hours after and didnt call.
