Random thought and dumb poll on this dreary day...OMG MAJOR UPDATE!!!
I have noticed that many of the cable stations are having movie marathons. There are currently "Back to the Future" and "Rocky" marathons on now as we speak. It leads me to ask myself:
"Do you think you could ever watch all 6 of the "Star Wars" movies back to back?"
My answer? A resounding "NO."
MAJOR UPDATE PEOPLE!!!!
I spoke too soon- guess what started about an hour ago on HBO2?
A STAR WARS MARATHON FROM EPISODES 1 THROUGH 6!!!
It is going to be on until 5:30 tomorrow morning!
May the force be with you all! May I reclaim my DH before bedtime!

I *think* that I could watch all of the Star Wars movies back to back.
At the very least, I definitely could watch episodes 4-6 back to back.

Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will ALWAYS be 1, 2 and 3 for me since I actually remember when they were in the movie theaters at their first releases. I saw Star Wars with my father in 1977 and we both fell asleep. I cannot tell a lie, I only saw the other 2 on video release much later.
However, there is something very sexy about Hayden Christensen when he starts to evolve into Darth Vader.

I don't think I could do it.
I like the movies - but that is what.. 12 hours of back to back movies?
And I don't like wandering around doing other shizzle when I am watching a movie - so 12 hours of sitting in a near zombie state.
I am too restless, my mind is too restless. My kids wouldn't allow it - and if they weren't around I would NOT spend 12 hours of ME time in front of a TV.
I could (and have) watched all 3 Godfather movies back to back. And I sandwiched it between GoodFella's and This Boy's Life. I was 9 months pregnant and passed my due date. When I went into labor the next day I kept saying to Rob "I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh?" every time he would crack a little smile. Poor guy. Later - after my son was born and the nurse brought him to me to feed in the middle of the night I was talking to him and I was saying the same thing... the nurse came in and startled me. I was like... "uh.. sorry?"

I would probably DVR it, then watch it over a week or so. Definitely couldn't spend 12 hours in front of the TV for *any* reason....

I'm so with you!! On our honeymoon, DH bought me a shirt that says, "I ? Darth Vader".
I'm a Star Wars fanatic. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! We have the Trivial Pusuit Game.
