Same here. For me, a scale would be detrimental. Although when I'm at my inlaws, I hop on.

I used to not own a scale but then i bought one about a year ago, in preparation for my wedding. And I have weighed myself almost every day since then. Now that I am pregnant I find it important to monitor my weight to make sure i am not pigging out too much!
I dont think its healthy though. You can tell in the mirror if you are getting heavier. The way your clothes fit also gives you a good idea if you've significantly gained or lost weight. I think weighing yourself starts to make you obsessed with your weight.

No. When DH and I were first dating he used to weigh himself every week so I took it out on the deck and smashed it with a slate stepping stone so he would eat ice cream with me.

I have a bit of a sickness when it comes to this. I weigh myself 3-5 times a day. It's really, really wrong, and I spend my days worrying about what I'll see when I look down. I'm trying really hard to only weigh myself once a week. It's a bad issue for me.

No way! I've wasted too much of my life obesessing over the scale. I don't weigh myself that much anymore. I go by how I feel, look and how my clothes fit. That makes me happy.

I stopped weighing myself since I had the baby. The fact that the number never seems to go down scares me that I wont lose the 20 lbs of baby weight I have yet to lose.

There is no way I could weigh myself every morning. Kudos to you Liza, but I am not that strong. Talk about starting my day off wrong I also go based on how my clothes fit, and I have always been short and chubby so I wear clothes that look good on me. That dosen't always mean that's what's in fasion, but I try to look nice. I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with the new babydoll style tops this season. Very nice for a shorter person with a large chest.

No, I very rarely weigh myself. If my pants start feeling a little tight, then I know it's time to watch what I'm eating a little better and work harder in the gym.
