I just got a haircut and I REALLY like it. It is like Victoria Beckhams with the long in the front and short in the back. My dh (and kids!) all looked at me like I shaved my head!
I asked my dh if he liked it and he said (like he does all the time)
"It's your hair, you are the only one who needs to like it"

Is there a reason they just can't lie and say yes-lol!!
My dh is not the type to come out and tell me that he likes something I wear or do to myself so sometimes I just want to do this:::

Chat Icon that's so hurtful. I am sorry. I'm sure you look fabulous! Chat Icon

It's not like he means to be hurtful but he just doesn't say things the right way sometimes-lol!! I know he meant no harm but I wish he just had a more sensitive side to him.

It wouldn't make a difference for me though it's nice to hear my husband say something to the effect of "that looks great on you".

ETA: I totally understand where you are coming from, my DH is the same way. He'd never out right say "I think that looks bad" so as not to be mean or hurt my feelings, but he would totally say something like what your's did.

I understand he's trying to convey that he's not thrilled with the look but is also trying not to hurt your feelings either.

In this case guys don't stand a chance. Women are so sensitive about their hair (or at least I am! Chat Icon ) so I think they tread lightly when it comes to the subject.
