I reported my neighbor...
for mowing his lawn at 7:30 this morning... instead of the 6:30 last time. Why do I feel guilty?

I believe they're allowed to mow the loan or do construction starting at 7.

In Riverhead it's 8AM-8PM are "mowing hours". The cop came, he stopped and finished at 9:30, a more reasonable hour. I really hate being "that neighbor" but I like my sleep (I also like the kids to get sleep cause then it's quiet in my house).
No, I never said anything to him, he is a strange man, the kind you do the friendly neighbor wave to and he just looks away. I wasnt going out in my jammies, leaving the kids in the house alone, at 7:30AM to ask him to stop.

Don't feel guilty I report people all the time to Nassau County. I live in a dually zoned community and the Haggen Dazz truck likes to be obnoxious at 3am! Now they come at 8am, after I reported them 15 times for waking me up.
