but sometimes its so hard bc you dont know what specific search word or phrase to use...
many times nothing pops up and i could have sworn the topic was spoken about already

Yes most of the time, but sometimes I get frustrated b/c if i'm searching for a specific word and several posts come up that have 5 or 6 pages of replies, I don't have the patience to look through each page for that one word! I wish the word was highlighted like on LIW.

Yes...but I find it doesn't always work. Like the other day I put in Hillary Clinton to see if anyone posted about her Sopranos spoof....her name didn't come up so I posted and Phyl kindly called me out that it was the third post of the day
So I say Damn You LIF search engine...you damn dirty ape
