Mine is $212, I put down $2k for a hyundai elantra. Its a 6-year loan, I believe. Ha, I don't know...not good.
I also got GAP insurance w/ my car...good for any financed vehicle. In case the car gets into an accident and is totalled I don't have to pay any more on the car than my deductable. I learned about that when I worked in collections. It's included in the above price.

I've never had a car payment but my sister gets new cars every few years. She hovers in the $300/month range. She has an SUV now.

207 a month for the 2006 Camry we got in 1/06. 34 month lease. we put 2k down.
our other car is paid off

Really? We were worried it wasn't! It's our first car with a car payment. We bought it Certified Pre-Owned from Prestige Motors in NJ.
We put 10,000 down.

LOL! I know! The new ones weren't an option for us. Especially because we park it on the street at home and work. We want another one now. We've got the X5 and DH's old Saturn. We work together so we drive together everywhere but when we go places separately we race each other and call dibs on the X5. LOL!

I pay 300/mth -05 Jetta, leased and i put down 1200

LOL.... That was where I bought my first BMW.... LOVED them...... since Im on the Island now I need to find a good dealer down here for when Im ready to trade this one in....... I dont think I can ever go to another car now..... Ive loved every BMW Ive had...

Likewise and now I'm not feeling so bad after seeing some of these numbers.

We put 2k down for both cars and rolled remaining payments on cars we were trading in- into the payment
