did SIL/BIL apologize to your DH? I would also have a very hard time accepting BIL back into your life---is he still selling? i think its unfair for your SIL to ask you to totally accept him back into both of your lives. very tough situation

Just the fact that he made money off his own BIL, in a way that was disrespectful to both of you, ( since he was trying to kick the habit)..
Id just be angry all around.
Id let them have an earful. Shame on them.

I would be so mad. How could a sister let someone do that to her own brother. If my husband wanted to sell drugs to my addict brother I would be furious (BTW, my brother isn't an addict, just making a point). You have every right to be mad and want nothing to do with them.

I would be HORRIFIED. That is HORRIBLE. What kind of family FEEDS an addiction but pretends to be supporting someone's recovery from it? That is horrible and I'm so sorry yuo are going through this. As if it's not enough that you need to support DH, but to have his own family pushing him in the wrong direction is just inexcusable and terrible. I'm so sorry

DH is hurt that his sister can't have a relationship with him with her DH. And I don't know how I could ever be civil to these 2 again.
this is terrible. it's adding insult to injury. they profitted from his addiction, facilitated it...and now his sister cannot even be a real "sister" to him.
if my dh messed with my brother like that, he would not survive, and he knows it. I ADORE my brother(s)...I love my dh...but I could never allow him to hurt my siblings.
I am very sorry. it's like they say...you can't choose family.
and congrats to your dh. kicking any addition is unbelievably hard. I am so happy things have turned around for him.

Honestly I would want to rip them a new one. I would be more than vocal in telling them this also. If they are aware of his addiction they are contributing to his fall down. I think its it disgusting.
