Spin-off the...did you like the surprise ring...
I was starting to drop hints to BF about the ring I would like but I knew he wants to totally suprise me. But the other night he hurt my feelings not meaning to and made me cry on Father's Day which is such a hard day for me. He felt so bad and wanted to make it up to me that he asked me what he can do...so I told him that I now get to show you the ring I like...this is what I showed him....He loved it!! I gave DH a photo of the ring I wanted and he pretty much stuck to it but changed it a little.
I loved it!!!

My ring was a total surprise and I absolutely love it, couldn't have picked a better one if I had picked it myself.. dh has excellent taste

That ring is beautiful!
There was no surprise with my ring thank god. We went looking together, and I told him exactly what I wanted. I even knew the size, cut, clarity and stuff before he gave it to me because he left the receipt for the ring on our bathroom counter.

I LOOOOOVE my ring. FH knew that I just wanted a Princess cut solitaire in a Tiffany Setting... not difficult at all.... that's what I got. He said he put a lot of hard work making the ring perfect, he looked at about 50 stones for the setting... he put a lot of time into it

yup! all I told him is that I want a round stone, he did all the research and even took an online "course" on the GIA website.

I DO NOT LIKE THE RING THAT DH SURPRISED ME WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
there are a million reasons why i don't like it. i don't like the stone, the setting, the style, the story that i found out about the ring and what was said when he purchased it, i don't like who he asked to help him pick it out (i have a feeling she picked out something i wouldn't like on purpose).
he's promised me a replacement that i can pick. it won't be for a bit, since we're broke right now.

Yes I did however print out the ring I wanted, solitare with 4 prongs, round stone and no side stuff ( I dont like that) with a gold band. I got it. and its FAB.

I loved the stone. He picked out a plain platinum setting because he knew I was going to want a specific setting.

i loved my surprise ring...it actually looks pretty much like the one you posted!
and then my girlfriend just got engaged and brought that exact picture (the Novo Tiffany ring) to the jeweler
edit: he just gave her the diamond and she picked the setting
