Oral Surgeon reccomendations..

I need 2 wisdom teeth pulled on the bottom they are both impacted..I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist and would like to be put out for this.
Can anyone recommend someone really good in nassau county.
Also...is it really that painful?? I am so nervous to get them pulled. I have been putting it off for so long now but my dentist told me one of them is really bad

Well, DH had one of his pulled last November. He was knocked out so he didn't feel a thing! But afterwards he was in quite a bit of pain b/c it was impacted and the surgeon said he had a very difficult time getting it out. If they I impacted I would HIGHLY recommend you not be awake for it.

The doctor who DH used has an office in NHP and Garden City. You also may want to ask your dentist for a referral. You may be more comfortable with someone that your dentist is familiar with.

Also, since they are impacted check with your medical insurance to see if they'll cover it. I contacted our dental insurance and I would've had to pay like $400 out of pocket but our medical insurance covered it at 100% b/c it was an impacted tooth.

I'm going to get my top 2 done in 2 weeks. I had my bottoms done a few years ago and they were impacted as well. My oral surgeon is in Deer Park. FM if you want his contact.

All of mine were impacted and I had them all out... I was also put out. It def sucks, but you get over it..lol

I had a dude in Lynbrook... can't remember his name but I can get it if ya want...

I have 2 great oral surgeons in Huntington but I am not sure if you want to drive that far.
I am the queen of bad teeth, root canals and wisdom tooth being pulled, if you need any suggestions or have questions let me know or if you want the names of these surgeons!!
