When should I make an appointment to meet some Pediatricians
I am due the end of Nov., when should I plan to meet with some Pediatricians.

We met with the ped about 2 weeks before I delivered. I guess it depends on how many you plan on interviewing. It doesnt hurt to do it early if you can

 Do it now. They had to refer me to a practice in the hospital because I had decided to spend the day after Memorial Day "looking" and instead spent it in L&D! They gave a great rec. and I really like the practice...but still, it's embarrassing to tell them you have no dr.

I would do it by week 32-34. That way that gives you some some. We saw ours at week 35. I felt better knowing we had picked one and felt comfortable with our decision.

I started the process at about 28 weeks and had chosen ours by week 32 or so.

I'm a slacker. I asked on a local message board for recommendations, found the one closest to my house, and called them. They seemed very nice on the phone, I got the Dr.'s credentials, but never actually went to *meet* with anyone.
I figure if I hate them, I could always switch.

Deb, I'm a slacker too...DH & I are going next week (38 wks) but I'd say probably around 32-36 weeks.

I went to mine at 37 weeks. It worked out for us, but I'm sure it would be pushing it for others.

I am thinking of doing this at 25-30 weeks, probably more on the later side. So far I have 2 that I want to meet.
