I cant believe I am typing this but the doctors say she only has a matter of days left. Maybe a week at best. I know shes 95..I know shes lived a long life..but it doesnt make it any easier to say goodbye to one of the strongest, most influential people I have had in my life. She is my "gram." And I cant believe this is happening.
Please say a prayer that when her time comes, she is taken peacefully the way she deserves. I cant believe this is the end. All my life, she is the only grandparent I have ever known.
I just went through this two weeks ago with my grandmother (who just turned 90 last month) She was very very sick so no one wanted to see her suffering anymore - but it still doesn't make it any easier!
