I thinking drinking and smoking pot is a release for alot of people of all the stress in their lives. While I don't believe this is good, I also feel better when I am relaxed from the stresses of the week.
I don't understand disappointment unless they are so far gone (like the people in Intervention). A weekend smoke or couple of drinks, no matter what age should not bother you.

I understand why people do it and I don't let it bother me, I just happen to view those people in a slightly different light. Chat Icon

I understand what you mean, because on a similar note I lose lots of respect for otherwise intelligent people who get completely sh*tfaced on alcohol...doing shots, pissing their pants, etc.....I guess it's just the vice that we disagree on Chat Icon

How often do you run into people who piss in their pants b/c they're drunk? What kind of crowd are you hanging with? Chat Icon

BTW, what are you disagreeing with me about on alcohol? I never once mentioned my views on it. Chat Icon

And just as I don't believe all pot users are drug addicts, I also don't think all those who drink alcohol get drunk and piss in their pants. Chat Icon

oops, sorry. I assumed from your view on potheads that you might consider heavy drinkers to be much dignified....I guess I made that up. Chat Icon

Hmmm...I don't recall making any comments regarding drinking or alcohol. Chat Icon I'll have to go back and reread.

Re: Pot

maybe i should do this as a spinoff, but i was wondering this.

to those who have used the "arguement" that they do not like it/ ppl shouldnt do it because it is illegal.

would your views on it change if it were to become legal?
