is a jumperoo almost the same as an exersaucer? is one safer than the other?

Re: Jumperoo & walker/sit & step

My personal experience is that the baby will be able to use the exersaucer longer. Babies tend to tip the jumperoo at an earlier age. I have found the exersaucer to be a lifesaver when I need to get work done. The little one I watch is too big for the jumperoo.

Re: Jumperoo & walker/sit & step

I heard that the jumperoo could be bad on their knees? But I have no evidence to back that up. I was very happy with my exersaucer (not a walker)

I registered and got the RF jumperoo - I did not register for an exersaucer b.c I read in a few places that they can be dangerous and are no longer sold in Canada.

Re: Jumperoo & walker/sit & step

im a little confused by these items??

The jumperoo I googled online and can not seem to find any knee problems with it....

however the old jumper that use to hang in a doorframe- those have injuries, the baby can bang their knee into the doorframe and the attachement to the doorframe can possibly fall off.

The exersaucer- the walker style one is banned in Canada, but not the non walker one, althought the nonwalker one there are a bunch of people with reviews on amazon.com saying how there is some sharp plastic thing which scrapes the baby when they take the baby out if it

so id think the jumperoo is safe but does anyone know where the bad article is on it??
