Spin-off to carseats...
Does anyone else find that the front seat has to be pushed forward (and not reclined at ALL) an awful lot to fit the car seat? Granted, I'll be able to get more comfortable once she's born (right now, I need to recline the seat to be comfy), but there is NO way I can sit in the front passenger seat with the car seat in the base right now.
We have a Hyundai Sante Fe....

I think it depends on the car. With the Passatt wagon it is fine, but with the Jeep it is tight. Less roomy in the back.

we put the car seat in the middle as per the state trooper who inspected the vehicle (it depends on your car and carseat where the placement will be-its in your manual) so unfortunately i cant help you, sorry

Ours does, so we put it on the passenger side, so that at least the driver will be comfy.

Yeah- it doesn't have the LATCH system in the middle seat. The trooper also said in our car the best is behind the passenger seat. I WISH it could go in the middle....
