Newly Preggo Girls...
Just curious where are you getting most of your info....I am not going for my first doctor appt until a few more weeks, in the mean time, i am not so sure about what to eat..etc...

Everyone here was very helpful for me in the beginnning (and the still are). I also read a few different books, researched online, etc.

This site is a great source of information. I also picked up What to Expect When expecting which has a lot of food info in it. Websites like www.babycenter.com are good too!

I'm pregnant with #2 and I lived by the book both times. I keep it right by my bed.

I picked up a book titled, "I'm Pregnant!" by a female obstetrician, I think her name is robin something and I goes week by week w/great pics, I have also registered w/babycenter and theres the what to expect website too. I have been given preg for dummies by friends and the most important tool....this chatboard. everyone has helped tremendously!!

When I was PG with my first, I read "Your pregnancy week by week". I found it to be informative without being scary. Personally, I hated the "What to expect" books... they scared me a lot with "what could go wrong" and made me feel like garbage if I ate ANYTHING that was considered by them to be "unhealthy". Their "best odds diet" made me want to cry.
