my doctor hasnt done this yet...for me it might be b/c Ive had so many sonograms and we know how the baby is growing already...I have an appointment on Monday..i'll be 27 weeks. We'll have to see if he does it or not.

i see a group of Dr's and so far only one has used the tape measurer. the rest use their hands. I guess its preference?

Every now and then my dr touches my belly - other than that I think they just eyeball it!! lol. I remember last time only 1 dr in my practice ever took out the tape measure. I know my last visit I asked the dr if I am measuring ok and she said perfect and she didn't even touch the belly! lol Not clue the methodology!!

The first time the doctor measured my belly with a tape measure was the last visit when I was 25 weeks.
