Stroller Swing Bouncie thingy
Did you register for ones to match?
How do you know which one your baby would like best?
I find it overwhemling.. Esp on BBB

gear patterns are NOT for the babies...they are aimed at the mommies.
Get what you like....
our stroller, pack n play, and bouncy seat did NOT match.

We ended up registering for the stroller, the car seat, the swing, the high chair and the pack and play all in the same pattern.
We didn't start out that way, but in comparing the items, it just ended up that the one of each we liked the most happened to be in the pattern.
we did get a different bouncy seat though...

I didn't get matching anything.
I registered for:
graco infant car seat
snap & go (for infant car seat)
Peg Perego regular stroller (which is not for the infant seat although it can accomodate it if I wanted, but it wont match)
Britax marathon car seat for when he grows out of the infant car seat
and a totally different brand swing

What will you put bebe in stroller wise when its small?

I didn't get anything in the same pattern except the Safe seat and stroller.
i didn;t go with snugride because they only accomodate kids up to 22 lbs, safe seat is up to 30lbs, and both sides of this babies family have LARGE kids, LOL

Matching isn't what matters, finding what works for you, DH and the baby is.
Our travel system matches b/c they were sold together, nothing else does. I have the puppy bouncer and the ocean swing and ahost of other things.

The snap n go is just a base that holds infant carriers.
Then you can go into the stroller.
Some people get an adapter for the infant car seat to attach to the stroller.
Don't worry, I am slowly learning this stuff as well!

right, I probably wont use them together because I wanted the snap & go, which is just a cheap stroller frame (very light), which is used with the infant car seat only.
And I think the infant car seat I got and the peg perego stroller will only work together if I buy a seperate adapter since they are two different brands.
It took me a bit to get this stroller stuff all figured out so feel free to ask more questions!

There are different types of strollers for different needs
For the car and quick shopping trips you can use the car seat with the SNAP N GO or equivilent. It is lightweight, fold up small and is ideal for running in and out of stores. Just plop the car seat and fasten and you are good to go!
For long comfy walks you can get a standard stroller. It will be heavier, you can use the recline feature when the baby wants to sleep and will have many of the bells and whistles that you would want in a stroller. These are great for walks to the park, around the neighborhood, etc.
They range from not so expensive ( I have the Graco Quattro) to really expensive (like the Bugaboo (this one is great for city people who will use the stroller a lot)
When the baby gets bigger a lightweight umbrella stroller is ideal. An example with be the McClaren Volo
If you are a jogger the jogging stroller
will be useful.
I never picked the same pattern on anything because I tried to pick the things I wanted and the best ones all seemed to be different, makes, brands, etc.
For car seats you will need the infant car seat (and you can buy extra bases for more than one car). I recommend the Graco Snugride. Other popular top choices are the Graco Safeseat and the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio.
As the baby grows out of that you will need a convertible car seat for each car.
I recommend the Britax Marathon or Roundabout.
For the Pack N Play you can buy based on what you want to use it for. Some have bassinetts and changing stations.
For the swing I looked at the reviews. I have wanted something with a mobile and lights. You can also get a travel one . I used that for my mom's house. He loved it.

I know me and nothing will match..or if it does it will be pure coincidence.
I think if anything I will be more looking to match some things with my home than anything else...
Brown for the bassinet and swing to match bedroom and livingroom.
