Migranes Question
I've been up since 3 am with an awful migrane. I took an Excedrin and when I woke up at 6 am I felt a little bit better. I'm at work right now but I still feel nauseaus with a dull headache. Is there anything else that I can do? Unfortunately I work with kids all day and it's final exam time so I really can't take the day off.

Re: Migranes Question
Try a little caffiene... unfortunately, I find with migrains, nothing really works... for me, it's just time and sleep.
ETA: If there's Coke around or even a small piece of chocolate.

Re: Migranes Question
The only thing that helps me is sleep.

Re: Migranes Question
What I found helps with my nausea when I have a migraine is taking a less drowsy Dramamine. Believe it or not, it does help the nausea. I usually take that with about 4 advil when it starts. It helps but doesn't cure it. Usually sleep and letting it run it's course is the only thing that helps totally.
Feel better! I feel your pain!

I agree- my doc gave me prescription meds for when I have a migraine, but it did NOT work as well as excedrin migraine! caffeine might help too-
Hopefully it will be gone quickly- but if not go home after work- take a relaxing bath, take a nap,no tv, no lights, sometimes I even put an ice pack on my head
I know how you feel hope you feel better soon!

Re: Migranes Question
I always have that dull headache after the migraine. Caffeine, water, and tylenol should help.

Re: Migranes Question
Nothing much helps a migraine hangover (for me)...I agree with resting, drinking lots of water and it wouldn't hurt to take another Excedrin.
