so is this right according to What to expect
week 22 begins your 6th month?
They say weeks 18-21 is when you are in your 5th month? sorry. i borrowed it from the library and had to return it. now i feel lost

yes thats right! thats how i do it anyway.
22-26 is month 6
27-30 is month 7, & start of 3rd tri
31-34 is month 8
35-39 is month 9
all 3 trimesters are 2 months of 4 weeks and one month (the last month of that tri) of 5 weeks

Look at it this way . . .
Pregnancy = 40 weeks
Trimester = 13 weeks 3 days
First Trimester = 1 week to 13 weeks 3 days
Second Trimester = 13 weeks 4 days to 27 weeks
Third Trimester = 27 weeks one day to birth
Lunar month = 4 weeks 3 days
So, to get to your sixth month, you must have completed 5 months or 5 x 4.3 = 21 weeks 5 days, which is close enough to say that 22 weeks is the official start of the 6th month.

Technically since a pregnancy is 40 weeks, it turns out we are really pregnant for 10 months!!
