pink or not?
Do you think pianting the entire room pink is too much if i go with a light shade or should i do a chair rail with pink and yellow or pink and green?

I like pink and white. Maybe yellow. I had pink walls growing up and I hated it, so I am biased.

I would do a chair rail with pink and green. Pink and green is a beautiful combination.

I love the look of a chair rail and it gives you the ability to bring more colors in while painting the room 2 different colors.
If you go w/all pink, I don't think it would be too much, as long as you bring in other colors in your decorative items. If I were to paint the walls pink, I'd make sure most of the other stuff in the room wasn't pink.

I think all pink is fine as long as it's a very pale pink. I can't see why there would be anything wrong with it, really!

This reminds me of when DH first bought our house, one of the girls bedrooms was ALL pink.
pink walls, ceiling, carpet, the television was even pink!!!!
And the other room was all neon green!
Instant headache
Oh to answer, break up the pink a little.

ok because im thinking of doing clothes line bedding with pink and green chair rail...little chandelier...thats if i have a girl....would just be easier with a boy, less decisions!!!

You are REALLY planning ahead huh?
How many weeks are you now?
Keep in mind your tatse will change SOOO much. Mine did from week to week. I held out makign major decisions on anything till after 20-25 weeks...because new stuff comes on the market etc...

I love pink for girls...but I also love painting techniques and chair rails etc...you could always do 2 different shades of pink...one a bit lighter than the other. Maybe stripes or something?

I am almost 12 so i am strarting to look. I want the room picked out by the mid summer. Just so we can paint and redo molding in the entire room. Its funny that you say that because I am definetly a planner. I plan things way ahead of time and I am super organized. Actually would love to be an event planner..LOL

You really can't find out the sex until 20 weeks. I found out at 12 and even then I was unsure that it was a boy. I don't think any tech would tell someone they were having a girl if they are not even 12 weeks yet - I think it's physically impossible.
