Mommies-to-be who quit smoking...

are you planning on going back after the baby is born or will you continue to be smoke free?

Having been a smoker, though I quit a long time ago, I think this is the perfect excuse to stay away from cigarettes for good.

By now you have it out of your system. And you're not going to want to smoke around your kids, or at least you shouldn't anyway.

I would never go back to smoking.

I wont but I still want too!!!!!!!!! If it werent for my kids nagging me constantly I would probably wind up going back...thank goodness for them

I got my BFP on July 16, 2006 and had my last cigarette that day....I had one cigarette a few weeks ago but aside from that, I have been smoke free since 7/16/06....my dd was born on 3/20/07

It is so easy to not go back to smoking after having quit for 9 months.....

I quit right when i got back from my honeymoon and I got pregnant 7 months later. I have no desire to go back but I dont think that i could be a parent and a smoker. My father smoked and it ended up killing him at age 52. I can't imagine missing out on everything that he will miss out on just because he needed to smoke. if you can kick the addiction now I pray to god you kick it for good. Nothing good comes out of smoking.

I quit with my first pregnancy and have not had a cigg since it has been a little over 3 years!!!!!

I quit a little over 9 months ago and I think about it all the time. I still want one ALL the time, but I will try with all I have not to go back to smoking for my Sons sake. I wont expose him to the smoke and I hope that as he gets older, a smoke free house would help him stay away from it as well.....

Thats the plan..now to stick to it!

I quit when I found out and I never plan on going back. Maybe an occassional one here or there if I go out and have a drink (not that I see that happening often)

I quit when I started stimming for IVF. It was the hardest thing I did....and yes I still crave a cigarette. I don't plan on going back once I give birth but it is tempting. Even though technically the nicotine is not in my system anymore the habit of smoking hasn't left my mind yet.
