Oops!!!
DH is a HS teacher who's pretty strict with his students regarding rules (no cell phones, etc), but they like him and he makes sure he follows the same rules he makes them abide by.
Anyway...he started carrying his cell phone in his pocket about 2 weeks ago, just in case I go into labor. I completely forgot he's carrying it now, and I wanted to leave him a message like I have done lots of times in the past, so I just called his cell (it's usually in his office, not in the classroom). He answered it fast and nervous, I think he thought my water broke  I said everything was fine, just that I just had to reschedule a Dr's appointment and wanted to let him know before I forgot. Poor guy-- must have been freaking when that phone rang! And he just said "gotta go" once he heard everything was ok, because he was teaching and he knew his students would be busting his chops.
OOOOOOOPS!!!

LOL...my DH is a teacher also..I have strict instructions only to call him if its an emergency!!!!!!!! That way the students..(8th graders) dont get to see Mr. B sweat!

That is funny! I didn't even think about it, I felt so bad!! He called me back before, said he was just getting ready to give the lab practical part of the Regents to like 5 classes!

My husband is the same way. Freaks out when the students phones go off. Now he says if it's an emergency, call once and call right back so he knows it's important.
