BTDT Moms anyone have the Graco Snugrider Stroller?
I am getting the Graco Snugride Car seat and was wondering if this would be a good lightweight stroller alternative? I live in NYC and travel mostly by foot so will probably be getting a bugaboo but I heard they are cumbersome and you need another stroller for traveling when you are putting it in and out of the car. I really can't spend another $300 on another stroller so I thought this might be a good alternative in the beginning. I know this will only be good for as long as the baby fits in the car seat but is it a good substitute for a second stroller? TIA 
Also - is this what is referred to as a "snap and go"?

I have the Graco snugride stroller and I live in NYC. IMO, it is perfect for city living. My daughter is 7 weeks old, and we have been getting by with only a Snugride carseat and the stroller. I know she will outgrow it in a few months, and we'll want a stroller where she can face forward in a few months, but it is fine for now.
My friend has the Bugaboo and commented on how hard it is to use for transportation- not only the car, but buses and subways, too.
Snap n' Go is a name brand, I believe, but they are of the same type. I liked the graco one because it has an adjustable handle, which is good for us, since my husband is 7 inches taller than I am.

I love that snugrider stroller frame. It was my lifesaver for months!! I was so sad when DD grew out of her infant seat and I couldn't use it anymore!

Defintely buy this, its not bulky and will last until baby grow out of the infant car seat.

I haven't even used my regular stroller yet!

I have the one by Kolcraft and I love it! DD is 5 months old and its been our only stroller the whole time. We go on really long walks too so you know its a great stroller. I will miss it when she outgrows her carseat- its so easy to use, travel with, get in and out of the car, etc.

Actually with the bugaboo you can get a Graco infant car seat adaptor and snap the car seat into the bugaboo frame. The close on the frame itself is not so bad....closing the bugaboo with the bassinet or toddler seat is the PITA.

My absolute favorite thing, so easy to use to put the infant seat right in it. I was sad to see it go when my son got too big for his infant carseat!

Loved mine too and highly recommend it but if you are getting a Bugaboo it may not be necessary. My SIL has a Bugaboo and used the carseat adapter.

There is a larger size. The graco safe seat goes up to 30 lbs. Jack is 8 months: 23.7 lbs and 29 in and still in his. I knew I was having a big baby....that's why we opted for the safe seat. It also fits perfectly into the graco frame stroller

I used the Kolcraft one for DS1 and loved loved loved it. I was sad when he grew out of the infant car seat and that it wasn't an option when I had DS2 because I needed a double stroller situation.
