I didn't bring any snacks with us, but DH was at the cafeteria eveyr night for himself and for me when they were inducing me, everytime they stopped the pitocin it was too late for a meal and if they were allowing me to eat I was taking that opportunity.
After people brought me cookies and snacks and my guests ate them.

Its a good idea to pack something. If you give birth late at night and you're starving its great to have.

I won't be packing any snacks. I was soooo tired after giving birth that I totally passed out once I got to my room and my parents always brought me food during my stay. My DH would hit the coffee stand in the hospital.

I didn't pack snacks and I was STARVING since I hadn't eaten before I went to the hospital. If you are delivering at Stony Brook they have an awesome room service menu and you can order as much as you want whenever you want. You could have five meals instead of three if that's what you wish!

bring them!!!
i went to the hospital at 10:15 am after eating only a bowl of cereal. I didn't think I'd be staying, so I wasn't worried about eating...little did I know I'd only be eating ice chips until 10pm that night!
I was starving and would have eaten wood chips at that point!

you might as well pack some stuff you know you like - i know we brought food to my sil when she was in the hospital because even though you are there for a short time, the food is not the best!!
