Bumping this...we should all watch it. It still breaks my heart, I think about that tragic story often and i dont personally know them.
How horrific, the whole story, so terrible. I am setting my tivo.

Any drunk driving story is tragic but the way this poor child died makes me sick to my stomach

I read about this in yesterday's paper.
And I'm glad they're taking this nationwide, esp with the news of Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan and Nicole Ritchie all being arrested for DUI or DWI.

I just saw the show and it was so sad. This family is hurting so much. Especially the Aunt/Uncle whose wedding they were coming from. They said that they have such a hard time strting and enjoying their life, when it started with death. When the mother was speaking, I was just imagining her sitting on the side of the Meadowbrook with her daughter's severed head.

I agree.
They are all so horrible... and it's something that we need to take more seriously b/c it happens WAY TOO OFTEN. It destroys so many lives and rips families apart.
I received a MADD e-newsletter about this Oprah show. I get them pretty often but yesterday I got one asking me, and the rest of the members, to watch this Oprah...
I will be watching it for sure.
