Just back from 39 week appointment....
NO PROGRESS!!!! NOTHING! NO DILATION! NADA! ZIP! ZILCH!
Baby is GREAT! Measuring perfect, heartbeat perfect, movement's perfect... just VERY comfy in Mommy's belly.
Back in a week! 
And to my dissmay...I JUST took out my belly button ring  SO UPSET!!! (but I couldn't last any longer...)

I was the same way at 39 weeks... and then I gave birth @ 39w 6d. There's hope for you, so hang in there!

I got so depressed when, at 39 weeks, i was told their was no progress. But 3 days later, i became a mom!! There is no way of knowing when it will happen. Enjoy these last few moments before the baby comes.

Oh it got bad!!  I'm embarrassed that I kept it in for as long as I did. DH was like you never listen... should have taken it out way before now.
He doesn't understand how attached I am to it

When my sister in law had her daughter, she went from no dilation etc one day to having her daughter the very next day. You never know what will happen!
