Did I miss something???? LONG!!!
So, my original EDD was June 29. I plan (so far!) to work until the end.
We are talking about a c-section scheduled the week before June 21 or 22.
So far... so good.
My boss was told "a few times" that I will most likely go earlier than June 29. She plans on getting a temp.. at the last minute. Honestly, not my problem she is does not get her/him on time for me to train.
So... yesterday we got an email about a meeting in Hauppauge. Which happen to be divided in 3 dates. I was scheduled for July 20. Hello... I will be on maternity leave. So I emailed her and told her that.
We also had a quick talk about my DD being now most likely June 21 or 22.
She emailed me last night asking me if I could make the June 22 date.
WTH????
1/ I just told her it would be my new DD
2/ Why would I drive all the way to Hauppauge at 39 wks PG? I live in Hicksville and will deliver at Winthrop in Mineola. Working in Melville is already out of my way to the Dr. and hospital..... so let me go to stupid meeting in HAUPPAUGE????

That is ridiculous - I would tell her that is too far to go from your home and hospital. I think some people just don't get it.
BTW my mom works in Melville and it only takes her 20 mins to get to me and I live right near winthrop.

It usually takes me 40-45 minutes in rush hour to get there.
